WINNING IS NOT EVERYTHINGAre we perhaps tired of taking a punt? Suffering a competition surfeit? The question arises because the take up rate on some of the prizes offered on this site has been surprisingly low. It seems that even sending an email to enter a competition can be too much of an effort. Maybe it is fall out from the TV phone in debacle where callers were essentially robbed. Whatever the reason, it might be best to refrain from offering free DVDs for a few days and to focus on writing about them and other important matters in British film. Perhaps more interviews with the best of British actors. That's what this space will be used for in the future. Time will tell if this is a good decision. Filed November 14, 2007 |  |
