WAR/JASON STATHAM IS AT

The simple title says it all: a war pitting JS against the wonderfully named Jet (Fearless) Li. On DVD.

**********************

The setting?

You know it. The underground world of the Asian mob.

Where else are you going to find sensational kick-ass martial art combat and non-stop shoot-outs?

That’s a rhetorical question. If you do happen to know somewhere else, please keep the details to yourself!

Their purpose? A little R&R.

As in Revenge and Retribution.

The logic? Bloody simple really. That evil assassin Li has bumped off Statham’s FBI partner and his partner’s family. Brutally, no less.

Statham, being an intellectual kind of guy, ponders going after Li through the usual lengthy official bureaucratic channels. Ponders that option, that is, for less time than it takes to say that phrase.

And then embarks on his own special personal mission of vengeance.

With suitably entertaining mayhemic results naturally.

The DVD is out February 4th, 2008 with the extras including audio commentaries, featurettes, deleted/extended scenes, trivia tracks, gag reels and a genuine sample of Jet Li’s blood.

Actually, there is no blood. Just checking that you were paying attention.

The DVD retails at £19.99 and if that does not promise you enough explosions etc maybe try the Boxset which throws in Statham in Revolver for £24.99 total.
