Where once upon a time it was enough to have passion, now you need a credential. The shift can be a bit dispiriting. Whatever happened to the loose cannon. The geniuses who simply "went out and did their thing"? Yes, it is a little sad that life so often resembles a police state. But for now let's look on the bright side.
