NEWS/NEVER A DAY PASSES

What is news? There are days when nothing you read seems important. Others when everything does. And still others when you realise that despite your best efforts and all your reading you really don't have a clue what is going on. That there is just too much taking place for you or any other normal human being to keep track of.

So it is in the British film world certainly. You can go for weeks and hear no news. Then three stories come along at once. Or more likely. Some 300 stories.

Here we will try to sort the wheat from the chaff. Or the celebrity from the chav.

Or whatever is necessary to make it possible for both the casual reader and the most intent fan to get a grip on things easily.
