FREE “STAR WARS” VISUAL GUIDE

It is Star Wars 30th anniversary and there is so much promotional material circulating that at times it seems the home of the Jedi, not Earth, is the more real of the two worlds.

Now comes a book, the new Star Wars Ultimate Visual Guide / "Special Edition", which goes a long way towards making that fiction even more convincing.

Essentially it sets out to detail the complete history of the far-away galaxy, from the origins of the Jedi and the Sith to the rise of the New Jedi Order. In short, the whole kit and caboodle.

Oh, and it looks at the making of the movies – hey, it is fiction, after all! – and, bizarrely, the range of Stars Wars gizmos for sale around the world.

Don’t worry if you are feeling reluctant to read all about this. The book is lavishly illustrated with over 1,000 images from the movies, cartoons, comics and so on.

The only thing it does not have is a photo of Ewan McGregor, which is why he is pictured here. Simply not fair to leave him out.

The book is big - A3 size - and will cost you £14.99 in the shop. But you can win it here for the price of an email mentioning Ewan McGregor in the subject line.
