DONKEY PUNCH/KIDS GETTING THEIR KICKS

It is universally known that young people holidaying in sunny climes indulge in much drink, drugs, rock and roll and sex, some of it risky. Here the climes are as sunny as anyone could wish, with a luxury yacht as the party base, and the risks are deadly.

It is a case of "It could happen to anyone."

A quartet of likely lads at ease in Majorca strike it lucky with a trio of bimbos who feel thrilled to have a free meal. Everyone is happy.

Except for the eponymous 'donkey punch', a much disputed practice of thumping your partner on the back of the head to enhance your own pleasure while having anal sex.

If you need more details, study the main photo again.

Although the experts question the benefits of the punch, they are unanimous in agreeing that it can be dangerous and, in this film, it is deadly.

So suddenly the happy holidaymakers are at sea with a corpse and much confusion as to what to do next, a situation which they unfortunately decide to resolve by killing each other.

It is an intriguing setup, enhanced by a beautiful setting and beautiful bodies. Beyond that, its appeal will depend on how attractive you find casual murder.

To test your tastes, have a look at the trailer.

The film opens nationwide on Friday, July 18, 2008.
