BOND IS GOLD

Walther PP Handgun as featured in 1962's Dr. No

This weapon first appears when spy-master “M” summons Bond, played by Sean Connery, for his mission briefing.

The gun, which appears throughout the film, was the only one provided by Walther for the first Bond movie. The appearance of Walther handguns in later 007 movies has made them among the most iconic props in film history.

At auction, the gun sold for £54,000 ($106,000), more than double its estimated auction price of £25,000 ($49,200).
