"THERE FOR ME"/IF ONLYPaul Bettany and Olivia Williams head an impressive cast in romantic drama, There For Me, set for a possible release before the end of the year. Bettany and Williams worked together quite poignantly (photo) on the 1930s love triangle The Heart of Me in 2002. This is also a story of love going wrong, but in a contemporary setting, as a young man dangerously enhances the pleasures of his engagement by having an affair. The ostensible reason is that his father has just died, precipitating a crise. Oh, that’s alright then! The film, the first feature directed by Sallie (This Life, The Bill) Aprahamian. shot on location in and around London and at Shepperton Studios. The film also marks a big step up for newcomers Dan Fredenburgh and Doraley Rosen, who also wrote the original screenplay.
